Great part of the lake, it’s a no wake zone from the 36/37 bridge up and the shale cliff in the east bank immediately drops off to 18 feet in most places and it’s a Great place to catch white bass, saugeye, crappie, channel cats, and the occasional Muskie like to hang out here. Good luck and happy fishing!

River fishing is challenging and takes patience, but the Olentangy has large stretches that are really nice for bank fishing, or kayak fishing. Smallmouth, Saugeye, Large Mouth and more. What I love about it is you can fish it in an area that is more woodsy or literally fish right by the Columbus skyline. It gives you the best of both worlds. There are plenty of bridges, reservoirs and other great places to hit up along it as well.
