A great spot for kids

This is a great spot to fish. it's really good for kids. There are always blue gill biting and occasionally you can grab a largemouth. We've seen catfish and even a snapping turtle pulled out of here. There are restrooms nearby, lots of parking, and picking tables for snacking.

Good lake for small consistent fish

I have fished here many times and have caught a fish nearly every time I’ve gone. I’m not picky though, I may fish for cats, carp, bass or panfish. It’s always a good time. I like using corn or bread for carp, hot dogs and bacon for cats, night crawlers for pan fish, and crank baits or stick worms for bass. Lots of places to bank yank.
