Great for bass, bluegill, and other species

This one of my favorite fishing ponds in Northern NJ, especially for bass. The pond has many places where you can fish and many of them produce decent sized bass. Although at the entrance there is a gate and you may seem to be required to pay, the fishing is free. You only need to pay if you are visiting the recreational lake behind Darlington. There is a parking lot on the other side of the pond which is the only place to park.

I went a few times, people there are very nice, the second time i went i caught 5 blue gill within an hour. I highly recommend trying this place out. I haven’t caught anything in the big lake but the little pond that the lake drains into is where i caught everything.
