I’ve lived on candlewood for the summer every year of my life and have gotten very passionate about my fishing because of this. There are a bunch of big smallies and I’ve caught most on a 1/8 oz shaker head and yum finesse worm. Drop shot works well too with the deep waters. Big largemouth will hit a big worm too. Overall a great lake👍👍

Overall for its size it’s probably one of the best body’s of water to fish I’ve found for bass and for how little they are damn do they fight and hit hard here they def need to start taking out the baby dink’s to allow for the other bass to get bigger soon cause as you can see some have been bigger than others but there is for sure competition for food at this point although every bass I’ve caught here is very healthy I have yet to come across one sickly skinny fish
