FISH SLOCUM CREEK!!!

For experienced anglers, maybe not the best place to go. Slocum creek can produce some nice reds, flounders, and the occasional striped. What Slocum creek is known for is the family time. I take my girls down there to involve them in a sport I love and in recent time they have come to love. They really enjoy it because they constantly and consistently catch fish, not keepers but it keeps them busy. When I do my crabbing I do it there as well. Check it out and enjoy the family time.

Went with a friend on the yaks early in the morning and it was a blast. Switching between chatter baits and popping corks and stayed busy. 18” speckled trout was the only keeper (no picture due to reaching for stringer and dropping the fish out the yak), but caught a dozen reds and a few flounder.
