There are a bunch of fish here and good honey holes everywhere. I kayak fish but there is a dock where some fish hangout. I’ve seen largemouth, warmouth, bluegill, channel cats, and a carp. I have seen gators before but they weren’t big at all and I haven’t seen them in a couple years.
Being a Midwest fisherman and growing up only learning freshwater. I will be retiring from the Marines next year and staying near the coast. I have been trying to learn how to fish salt water as well as my son. This has been the best place for us to fish so far. Last weekend we landed a flounder, three redfish, a blue, and a good sized Crocker. Recommend for those that are just learning.
