I live on big fish lake and the fishing is relatively very good. There are many bass that are generally pretty big. I have caught dozens of northern a that were all about medium size. The lake has many good locations along with a cool sandbar that has a drop off where I have hooked a giant fish twice that snapped my fire line so I hope to catch that fish some day. I have had many other people I know that have caught some good size fish here
To start off the Mississippi River in general is a great spot to fish there is lots of rocks in some spots and lots of cover and great currents for all kinds of fish! If you love a challenge and want to catch some northern pike and great fighting fish like small mouth and carp!
