They bite all hours of the day, this is a really perfect spot. There are rock ledges on the edges of some of the larger water ways, brush in the open water areas as well as towards shore, and the coves are perfect with a combination of brush and underwater obstacles. The beaches and public parking areas are extremely pressured though, but row for a few minutes on a kayak or walk through the woods and you’ll find areas that are really good and low pressure

Ive lived on this lake for over 15 years and it is fantastic, but what a lot of people don't know is that the original Cedar Rock Lake is fully private because you can not get to the lake because all of the land surrounding the lake is private. The lake just north of Cedar Rock is the J. L. Lester's lake, which is a WMA lake.
