I love this creek. It has been so good to me and has taught me a lot about how fish react to their environment. I have had the opportunity to catch a lot of different species that include largemouth mean mouth small mouth spotted bass and all manner of pan fish. I highly recommend this creek but it is much better if you launch a small plastic pattle boat or wading since you can’t access it very well from the bank. I have a lot of memories and videos on my channel press these links to see some of them. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6SXwuQCVqVc https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_FX5LdcN9b4&t=361s https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=l41WVle27uo https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DpOJgCC0nOU&t=265s
This is a difficult river to fish, the fish will follow your bait on every cast but you can go hours without a bite. But the flip side is there are very big bass but they don't budge for anything. I recommend a dark chatter bait with a dark rage swim that's what I've had the most luck on. if you want a challenge highly recommend. if you want to fish a little up stream there is a place were you can launch kayaks, canoes, and and a very small boat that does not extend more than 1.5 feet out of the water. there is a summer camp across the river at the launch sight, they have obstacles that stretch across the river if you launch a bass boat there you have to cross the river on your boat right above a dam to get around the obstacle supports. when you go up the river a good spot to fish is right under the bridge, when going up river fish to the left of the far left bridge support. that is all I can tell you for free.
