Great little fishing spot!

Clear lake is a great place to drop a line in the water if your in the Georgetown area. Unlike Georgetown Lake, it isn’t overfished and you can enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet while you fish. Expect to catch a few fish per hour in good conditions. Note that the road to clear lake involves some pretty sharp turns and steep grade. The nearby campground is also a great place to stay if you are looking to do a lot of fishing in the area.

I walked on the trail before the stop the GPS takes you. There are 2 seperate parking spots on the reservoir. On both sides of the bridge. I just so happened to be on the north side of the bridge. If the weather is not to windy, you can watch the rainbow trout and the cutthroat trout in the water. One of the the cleanest reservoirs in Colorado! Highly recommended for fishing. 07/12/2020
