This is a great place with a several ponds to fish. Some are Colorado Parks and Wildlife which are catch and release only. It was a great place but it is not Brewer Reservoir. Rather this app with many GPS issues is making all reports from Elaine T Valente apart of Brewer. You want to go to Elaine T Valente Open Space off of 104th. This is the right place and I hope it helps.
This place is fun small out saugeye and walleye are all present here as well this place gets stocked with trout typically in the cooler months like spring and fall trolling spoons and Tasmanian devil lures can be super effective for trout as well as bank fishing with powerbait and crawlers in the warmer months I like to give my try at the walleye and saugeye that live in here I typically troll cranks off my kayak. I sometimes add weight to get the cranks down a few feet deeper Bright colors seem to do the trick like white and chartreuse I also see people jig for them with curly tail grubs and those are effective too. This lake is deep enough those to still have good trout fishing in summer just requires a little extra work. I haven’t really tried for smallmouth that’s the one fish I can’t say much about. By far my favorite to target tho is the saugeye keeper size is 15 inches for those wondering which is smaller opposed to other reservoirs like cherry creek and chatfield which your fish needs to be 18 inch long to keep on those places. But you could argue this is the best place to take your kayak or paddle board fishing bc you don’t have to deal with any jet skis or motorboats ripping around the lake due to the motor law where you can’t take a boat with a certain motor size limit.
