The lake of giants, the lake of many state records... Lake Casitas. Hands down, one of the best places to fish in California. Bank access is limited, need a boat for sure. Not a beginner lake. Note, there is bass everywhere, I have seen multiple 8-10 lb bass swimming around. Just gotta get them to bite.

Great Fish Habitat

Lots of leopard sharks, rays, corbina, etc. Low tide is the best time to go because when it’s high tide waves are pounding on the rocks shooting up and splashing all over. But when it’s low tide it’s calm and you can fish from the sand and lots more fish are out. There are tons of sharks, rays, and corbina etc. and it’s a great fish habitat!
