Huntington Harbour is ideal for kayak fishing. The vast majority of the harbor is residential, so you don’t have an excessive amount of boat traffic that you find in other larger harbors. Anaheim Bay located at the northern end of the harbor is divided into two areas, civilian and military, by the large bridge on PCH that links Sunset and Seal Beach. The area on the civilian side of the bridge is a very popular place to fish and an absolute favorite for local kayak fishermen!
The biggest issue for fishing is the amount of people riding water bikes. The really big positive to this lake is that there is HUGE fish in it. I’ve seen 10+ pound carp and 4+ pound bass, as well as 10 oz + Panfish. Expects the panfish to eat your worm off your hook tho cause there is tons of aggresive babies lol.
