This lake is around 100 years old and hansnt been stocked in over 13 years, but has a lot of different species surprisingly, largemouth, black crappie, green sunfish, bluegill, carp, channel cats, yellow bullheads, flathead cats (rare), koifish, and there has been piranhas, pacu, and even Oscars caught here. It's stained and very tough but it's awesome when it produces. my personal best largemouth bass is 7lbs 2oz. from this lake and I'll never forget it!

Found a parking spot on the street next to the park so parked for free. There's a dude that comes by to check your permits. If you don't have one you could buy one from him if you got the cash. 8bucks. I'd suggest bringing a wagon to lug your gear to a spot, maybe you'd want to make movements.
