Lake Amador offers great fishing for Cutbows, Rainbows, and Golden Rainbows in the cold months and huge Bass, Catfish, Crappie, Bluegill, Red ear Brim, all year round. We raise our own trout here using deep cold lake water, top quality food, plus a lot of love and then stock strong full finned fish with salmon colored flesh unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before.

Good place to go fishing

Went here once to try it out and caught 2 decent size fish. And lost 3 fish, 1 of them that was lost was a hog. Fished this place for a few hours and I was the only one of my friends to catch any bass. Very grassy and pressured, the bass are finicky and are spooked when someone is near. And there are bass beds almost everywhere you go. This place has some hogs and I highly recommend to go weedless and either use a jig or a texas rig. Definitely will be back.
