This lil local pond is good for catching trout and HUGE largemouth, sometimes 5-7 pounders. Simple nighcrawlers on a bobber rig work best for the trout, but trout colored jerkbaits work best to get the biggest trout. The bass are very hard to catch, so they never really seem to want the same thing twice, but silver shad crankbaits and the trout colored rapalas can produce bites, and sometimes I catch them on worms while trout fishing.

This lake is amazing it is one of my favorite places to fish. You can catch trout, kokanee, and smallmouth. It is best to fish here by boat but it is definitely not impossible to catch something from shore. Most of the trout that I catch from sure usually bite best in the morning before 11, and they usually bite gold or silver spoons. They bite the same kind of lures by boat, but they do bite mepps spinners more on a boat then they would from shore. They bite good in the channel between the marina and the main part of the res, and of course by the dam. The kokanee usually bite spinners being trolled at low speed. The smallmouth bite soft plastics, especially plastics craws and double tail grubs, along with tubes and curly tails along rocky shoreline. Sometimes I catch them on cranks going through deep water, and sometimes when I'm trout fishing on the trout lures.
