Small fish and many turtles

I went fishing here yesterday, caught about 26 fish including a small cat fish. Issues was they were all tiny, and we kept catching turtles. We caught about 6 turtles. Luckily we got them all of off the hook as safe as possible, but it was still very annoying

Tough bassing

I come here often since I live close by. Bass generally range from dinks to 2 pounds. PROS -All the panfish you want with a rooster tail ranging from bluegill to small crappie. -Big pond in a nice area -Big catfish in there CONS -Pressured for both catfish and bass anglers -A lot of trash, snags, and growth at the bottom of this generally shallow body of water -Not much structure -Windy af. It's almost as if this pond was built in a valley that tunnels wind through. Best to throw 1/4oz and up lures.

Heavily catch and release fished

Always have struggled to catch anything here. Had success today with hot dogs. My sister says that heavily fished spots the fish get lazy and it takes strange meats to get their attention. Crank lures did not work. Given a choice I will go somewhere else but there was a group outing
