Nice spot for fall and spring!

A nice spot depending on the weather and time of year! I would stay away from late June to late August due to the influx of New Yorkers that frequent the area. It isn’t a very deep lake, so you’ll have trouble finding spaces fish will congregate during the hottest parts of the summer. Not much bank cover but there are a few spots. Best time of the year I’ve had has been fall and late spring. Some decent sized bass with a number of other species as well. Have only caught maybe one fish on a top water, for some reason they just don’t go for them. Both sides of the lake are viable but you’ll likely catch more carp on the western side of the lake while the eastern side is a bit cleaner. As a side note, I wouldn’t eat anything caught in this lake but have seen others catch and eat the carp.

Great lake for the fall and before spring starts

I started fishing this lake about a year ago and i always believed that it was very bad.I stared to get better at fishing and started to catch some really nice fish. The water is very dirty, the lake is deep and it has big fish trust me they are not easy to get but when they bite you’ll get very excited. For bass you have to know when, where and what to use for you to catch one.(They really love nightclawlers) pickerels are not always bite but they love spinners (rooster tails) Crappies are not easy to catch but they love trout magnets before the spring starts There is huge carp but they are really smart if they see ur line they will not bite ( always use a small hook, they love corn and worms) I really love this lake because when i catch a fish is always a nice one it can not be easy to catch but just know when and what to use. Two pics of fish we caught this year with my buddy in February with worms all types of fish were bitting in front of our facess! I hope all of this information help you guys of catching more fish at this lake 🔥

Has its ups and downs

Im not the biggest freshwater guy but I do fish here a lot in the winter when there’s nothing else to do and the bites always good but not to many big fish in the mix, I’ve heard of big fish in different times of the year but have only seen a couple
