its right outside my apartment . mostly small fish but every now and again you can get a little 2 pounder bass or if ya lucky you might stumble across the giant catfish that lurk in the depths of the pond

Getting a launch permit is easy at Newport News Park office. The launch spot is cement & easy. Kayakers & small boaters can also carry boars to north side. This lake is fun to fish! I’ve caught many 20+ inchers here. Including an 18 & 22 today. #NautiFish

Fish went deep to avoid the sun and heat. But we’re holding right off the hydrilla. I pulled dark plastic worms off the hydrilla letting them free fall with a lite slip sinker.
