Tired of the skunk? Try this pond

This is a great little pond to take the youngsters to fish for sunfish and bluegill as they are not shy to swim right up to the bank. If you’re looking for decent size bass, plenty of those here too. My guess is they have plenty of fish to eat which explains their size. There is plenty of parking right off Plain St and there is a path that goes around about 3/4 of the pond. There are a good number of spots to fish off the bank but some of them can feel tighter than others. You can tell a spot is a bit tight by the number of hanging ornaments in your surroundings if you know what i mean. There are a good number of laydowns to try and drag out the bass and i’ve also had luck casting right into the middle of the pond to reel in big bass. So far i’ve been here twice and for the most part was the only one fishing the pond. There is also a couple of trash bins by the pond and people fishing here seem to make good use of them because there isn’t much litter which is uncommon around popular fishing spots. I will certainly work this one into my normal rotation
