Good spot

I have been here half a dozen times or so in September/October 2021 and it can be hit or miss, however, I’ve had strikes or catches on top water, spinnerbait, and fellow anglers have had luck with plastics on Ned or Texas rigs. Even the blue gills act like bigger fish. I’ve seen bass get up to 3 pounds here but I haven’t caught one that big. Ample street parking, and a couple of good access points from the public park or side street. Friendly anglers here.

Not a single bite

The water is shallow and had lots of algae. I fished top water in the pads wacky, Texas, crawfish. Didn’t get a single hit in 2 hours working half the bank from my paddle board.
