Wilmette Harbor

This harbor is getting dirty every year. Few years ago it was super clean and you can even see crawfish down there and get them with a chicken leg. But now is mercury and cloudy. Please keep this area clean!

So be patient and you will catch sum I went 4 times nothing and the 5th I caught my PB

Personally me, I like this spot you can find a good amount of fishes quick except the big boys. If your lucky the biggest fish you can get is a common carp and a large bass. All fishes are near short but make sure to bring weights because the water is deep. I rate this place a 4/5 because you can’t access the water by the boats, your only allowed by the river and that’s it.

If the fish are active easy 5 star but sometimes there not active there mostly active in the later months like late August to late September
