Lots of pressure but they are in there. Very predatorial in this place!

Very good place for largemouth, bluegill, and catfish. You could catch ten fish in one day, or get totally skunked with no bites the other. The bite is on and off. It’s very pressured, but has a lot of bait fish for the bass and catfish to feed on. There are also multiple ponds to fish. I catch most of my fish there in the two center ponds on TX rigged soft plastics

First time on Phillips North. Got one at sunset. Water looks great. I think the lake has carp in addition to bass.

It's a good spot with lots of bass... and turtles. Convenient place so you can get bait and immediately go fishing though.

#fishbrainchallenge this a good pond, only problem is that it is very unpredictable how much the bass will bite.

This pond has great tree cover along the bank for a nice place to avoid the heat while fishing. There are some good size bass and catfish here, but can require some patience to land the “monsters..” There is also a ton of BIG Carp lining the banks that make for some fun fights at the crack of dawn or late at night. Downside is they have a MASSIVE turtle problem here that makes fishing for catfish and carp very difficult.

Popular place so get out early! Not a lot of shade either so dress accordingly!

You will either catch a 3+ pound bass. Or not catch any at all. Usually a good ole tx rigged worm will get em. Lots of huge Shad there though, found one that got killed by a turtle. It was probably a 2+ pounder!!! #fishbrainchallenge
