Quiet pond intended for residents “only”. Good size cats and some bass in these pond, 1 of 3 ponds i think. Please be respectful of the community. I dont think i have seen a catch and release sign but i could be wrong, but i practice C&R so that everyone can have a good time catching fish.
There isn't too much not to like about this lake. Is it a GREAT fishery? No. Is the camping fantastic? Absolutely not. Are the biking trails good? Actually yes. Lake Bryan offers countless opportunities, from fishing, swimming, camping, hiking, biking, and has an restaurant on the premises. There is something for everybody here, and it is only a 15 minute drive from College Station. I primarily partake in the fishing, and while not a great fishery, there are some monsters in the lake if you can find them. I've pulled out numerous 4-5 pound bass, and the 8.5 pound lake record was caught in 2021. While not a great bank fishing lake (having a boat or kayak helps), you can still have good luck if you target the vegetation along the shoreline.
