All about timing with this place . 20 min walk off off 138 uphill to get to fishing spot this was my first time fishing this spot

Giant bass here 3 lbs to and up

It’s a solid little water bowl with a wide variety of ways to fish, especially depending on the season. It can get overcrowded but for the most part it’s not too bad. Parking is limited and it can be a journey if you hike to it. I’d recommend it to angler trying to learn different techniques for sure, but I think “more seasoned” guys would choose this as either a last ditch option or if they’ve been getting skunked and need to land at least one regardless of size.

Take out what you take in and the water will treat you well. Always clean LMB catches there.

I had a great time caught large mouth the settings nice and relaxed but there’s just not too many spots to stand around because it’s so slanted on the shores. Overall it’s a good time you gotta go later in the day cuz those fish are smart.
