I am not overly fond of park lakes/ponds to go fishing but there is something nice about Echo Lake. There are plenty of spots for bank fishing and plenty of fish as well. A trail that goes around the lake allows for accessible bank fishing. There is plenty of nature to take in while fishing/hiking. The only knock: some spots have low hanging branches or tight spots to effectively cast your line.
You really need to go at the more quieter parts of the Reservoir because the main area is to shallow and a lot of boats are in the way but walk the trails and there some great open spots and little docks to fish off of the biggest fish I’ve caught here is a 13lb 8oz Blue Catfish
