Not alot of human activity up here. I've caught upwards of 30 bluegill in a day when fishing near banks but you have to use some sort of boat and get away from the usual spots. The good fishing is 20+ feet down. The springs are cold enough that the larger fish still bite during the day if you fish deep enough. I fish this spot twice a month and I've only seen 10 cars on the whole lake at once. Takes me ~20 minutes to paddle from top to bottom. You can fish here every weekend and never hit the same spot twice.

Beautiful place to fish and camp!! The beach area can get pretty noisy when the larger groups gather and blast music. The fishing was much better a few years ago, but still not too bad. My only complaint is that when people take out the bass by the bagful, it ruins it for those who actually love the sport and catch & release. I wish those rules would be better enforced there. Other then that, it’s one of my favorite spots in the world!! 💙
