It’s okay for fishing. If you know the right baits you’ll be able to catch ‘em like it’s going out of style. When I first started coming here, I came here about 10 times and left with no bites from the bass. Then one day, I got some new baits and caught 5 bass in a day! The trout and blue hill are easy to catch( just use bread) There’s lots of Lilly pads and there’s a lot of trash. There’s 4 docks and about 9-10 fishing spots. I sliced my foot on a hook in the water so be careful if your wading the water. Thanks guys. I got this added to the map😏

My home river and I love her.

The Ogden generally won’t throw monster browns or crazy bows at you, but it’s a short distance for those of us in Ogden and a good place to learn fly fishing on. It’s a forgiving water. For people starting out the stretch by Rainbow Gardens is the best to check out. For people interested in wading and scrabbling rocks the canyon can produce some beautiful fish. Please clean up any little you see so we can keep her safe for our fish.
