Lots of sunnys along the rocky banks. They catch bigger fish in the lake portion. Would be a great place to take first time anglers and/or youth due to plenty of catchable fish. There is a little store right around the corner for bait as well as a gas station/Store for snacks and drinks.
Roaring creek is a great place to hunt down the elusive rainbow trout and other trout species. However it will require lots of time and patience to find where the trout are hiding without spooking them. Roaring creek also has smallmouth bass, blue catfish, bluegill and many more species for a fun/diverse fishing experience. Most of this creek doesn’t have the most accessible fishing spots so I recommend wearing waders and traveling along the shallow parts of the creek as calm and quietly as possible so you don’t disturb the fish.
