This lake has truly taken off since it was redone! With great cover and and catch and release laws the bass are thriving. This is a fairly shallow lake, however it gives the opportunity to fish various types of baits. The only downside to this lake is accessibility. Unless you have a kayak or smaller vessel it is hard to access the best spots on the lake. Overall I would highly recommend this lake to everyone!

This lake is amazing. I caught my Pb hybrid striper(A 6 pounder) at lake Arthur. I’ve only fished it once, and I plan on going back soon. It took me a while to catch that striper (3 hour wait) but to be fair I did a lot of trial and error. If you are shore fishing, I would bring a rod that can cast far and for bait use bottom rigged night-crawlers (they seem to work pretty good). Hybrid stripers school up, so if you catch 1 there are lots more in that area.
