at first when I got there didn't see any sign of fish what so ever but once I got on the water and scouted out areas I noticed that the fish tend to stay closer to shore and noticed that they stayed by the areas where there were plants all in all great place to fish

I have caught over 10, 4 pound smallmouth in this lake and I only fish there 2 weeks in a year. Everything works. Live bait, top water, spinnerbaits, soft plastics, swimbaits, you name it. There are also plenty of pike, walleye, perch, carp, rock bass, and trout. It is a very big lake with many many spots that produce fish. One of my favorite lakes.
