Beautiful lake

I recently visited for the first time. It was early October and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. This is an electric only lake so it was quiet and peaceful (except for the sound of hunters firing off their shotguns). The fish were biting and every inch of shoreline looked very fishy. We caught mostly pickerel and largies but also a few pike. I will definitely be returning to Shohola in the future and I highly recommend it to all anglers out there with a boat or kayak...I wouldn’t recommend trying to bank fish here, access looked very limited.

Great Place

This is a great place to fish, they stock the lake every one in awhile, especially after a fishing contest. I would recommend going by the dam because it allows you to cast, have a nice solid seat, little grass area so you can get near the water without falling in and lastly best view in the house! 😎
