Great Bass pond

It’s a man made structure, but there’s plenty of opportunities along the vast shore line for some great fishing. Whether it be teasing the decent sized bluegills or ripping a nice bass from the deep, it’s always fun at the meer. I’ve seen plenty of fly fishers also, since there are areas with no trees blocking your path.

Good Bass Pond but NO FISHING!

I caught a bass there yesterday and just after that, a person that said they own the lake and the parking lot drove up and told me I cannot fish there. I think he owns the Lakeside Diner. He was not rude but It was a short conversation because he wanted to keep his distance (COVID). He said he didn't want any fish taken from the lake. I said I only catch and release. He still said no. BTW, there are 2 no fishing signs that cannot be seen after the late spring bushes grow in. The shoreline on the South Side of the Lake is pretty littered. Many seem to stop by to smoke pot in their cars.
