Along with pitchfork cove they all share the same general parking area. You’re looking at a significant hike over uneven terrain to get to the water. Pack light. This is shallower than pitchfork but more vegetation for baitfish. Bear in mind, you’ll still have to negotiate rocks. I strongly suggest santee rigs

It’s a great place for beginners to learn. My girlfriend and I go here to catch bluegill and carp. Not stocked currently due to the heat but some fish are still active and swimming. I recommend going 9 am or 4-8 pm. Ducks tend to come near you so try not to hook them lol.
