If you have kids or a girlfriend and you want them to get into fishing, this is the place. Take them to the spillway in the back and fish from the pipe. It’s a comfortable spot with amazing action on almost every cast. Popular methods include casting small lures, jigging and plastics, and simple worms.

I’ve caught numerous giant largemouth out of this lake. In the summer it’s a good numbers lake on the boat, but currently I prefer to bank fish before the trees start to get overgrown. Texas rigs, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits all work particularly well. Good luck to anyone going.
