I’ve caught numerous giant largemouth out of this lake. In the summer it’s a good numbers lake on the boat, but currently I prefer to bank fish before the trees start to get overgrown. Texas rigs, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits all work particularly well. Good luck to anyone going.
My get away from everything is this place. I drive from Allentown pa sometimes 2 times a week to fish these waters on my kayak, my buddies boat, or off the shore. And even if I don't catch anything just the sites and peacefulness is anough. Whales, dolphins, seals, all types of birds makes the hour 1/2 trip well worth it. Also I met a ton of good people who are there for the exact reasons I am. Fellow fisherman and ladies from all walks of life, and nationalities. Often I found myself drinking a beer, or invited on a strangers boat with these fellow anglers and became good friends with these people. This is my place to go to and mybe it mite be yours.
