Fishings 35+ years here!

I've been fishing the Avalon Pier for over 35 years and the pure simplicity of being able to take the kids fishing on a moment's notice is great. Didn't pack the rods this year? Rent one. Forgot the bait or want to find out what's biting on which bait? Just ask. They have everything you need, but they can't control the fish or the weather. Always a good time, even if it's just watching the sun set.

Lots to catch and fun to be had when using the right bait. Whether you are fishing the pilings or casting out far you can catch everything from pigfish and croaker to the occasional ray or shark. Overall a pretty cool experience; besides the local kids that try to steal your gear or constantly cast over you to snag your line to get you to move down. Kinda annoying. Having the bar right there is pretty useful too.
