I love everything about Detroit Harbor. It has multiple has spots to fish, it is the best spot to get Small Mouths, and it has the chance to get Northerns, Perch, Rock Bass, Gobys (If you get one, throw it to the seagulls because they are invasive), Bullheads every once in a while, and the very, very tiny chance, a carp. I saw two giant carps in the shallow part of the pier once. The only thing most people wouldn’t like about here is the ferries that come and go every 30 minutes from the mainland to the island. The current tends to go to the right so try to cast to the left. There are areas with a lot of snags but they aren’t hard to avoid those spots. Other then that, a great place to fish.
