Little water. 15 to 20 hard strike. Total 4 caught. 3 landed. 6 inch wild brook trout. First time fly fishing. Was with a bean guide. He was the best. Fish everywhere. He landed 3 just teaching me how to do a cast, then was all sorry about it. I had the best time.

Early morning whopper plopper galore

*OCTOBER REVIEW 2020* I was fishing here early October. Early mornings just b4 sunrise or around it bass are hungry and go shallow near the brook away from the main highland part of the lake. If your looking for big chunky largemouth this is the place to be. Whopper plopper was having fish jumping to eat it. Casting just around the brush piles and sometimes in them with a frog make a morning on the lake a pleasure. Easy 2-4 lb bass and definitely some bigger ones if you come here often. From what I know the lake is fairly quiet but I’m sure that changes during the summer months. Nothing to complain about wonderful lake with beautiful scenery.
