My family owns the chicken wing shaped island you can actually catch white and yellow perch along with sunfish small and large mouth bass I recommend going to Days store under the bridge or johns store right on the bridge if you do they sell worms and tackle tell the you know the Dill family from the fish brain app yeah I’m only 11 anyway great place please don’t litter or take anything on our island but be warned are neighbor Kevin’s he’s got a island next to us is a weirdo and gets lawyers to sue people who go on his island anyway have fun you can fish on our island and take as many blue berries as you want from the island there down a trail to the right of the big opening and sign about us protecting the lake anyway good luck and go down ignam stream at sunset trust me.
This pond is excellent for bass fishing and loon watching. Boat traffic is minimal as there seems to be no public boat launch. Lots of smallies and bucketmouths. Most I caught were around 13-16” and a few larger. Most of my fish were put back. Wacky rigged senkos made fishing here ridiculously easy.
