This is a great local place to spend a few hours by myself or with my family. I can always find a place to park with easy access to bank fishing and can normally grab a few fish too. The park area is kept clean, plenty of waste bins around and other fisherman are polite. They do stock trout in several of these ponds annually, their are also bass, catfish and bluegill.

If the water is just right you can catch almost anything. I've caught sauger, small mouth bass, spotted/Kentucky bass, large mouth bass, white drum fish, black drum fish, blue catfish, albino catfish, flathead catfish, channel catfish, bluegill, etc. Sometimes you can light them up down there and sometimes you'll walk away empty handed. Either way I usually have a good time no matter what.
