This park and lake is close to my home. I can get there and be fishing in 15 minutes. It can get a little crowded on the weekends but not so much as to keep anyone away. There are bass, crappie, catfish, carp, and bluegill in this lake. There are also trout stockings here. It is usually a good way to relax in the evening after work.

Saw this location on the app. Upon arrival, the gate to the entrance was open and there were cars parked in the driveway. I spoke with Bryan, the property owner, and asked for permission to fish. Super nice guy. Spent about two hours fishing and caught 3 (largemouth, crappie, and bluegill)! Also while fishing you can see the beautiful coy that swim near the embankment. I even saw a few coy sized largemouth! I will definitely be returning to this awesome spot!
