Great little creek with big features! It begins with whitewater rushing over rock as it descends and winds under over hanging trees and hosts of wildlife! There are several species of fish, heron, two huge playful turtles, and a mischievous little snake that likes to attack my net back of fish holding in the water. There is a partial gravel driveway to get to the access, but only a small amount of space across from the eddy. Although there is a steady flow of traffic from the over pass, it is easily tuned out by the peaceful ambiance of the nature around.

With these being public ponds, they are of course going to be a bit more pressured and tougher to get a bass bite on. But with so many ponds, and regular stocking, you can still catch a few good size bass here. Come here to test your skill and luck, I think I'm faring well so far :). Speaking of stocking, I would like to give a shout out to the park rangers/wildlife management out there! Not only do they work to keep the grounds operational, but they are also friendly and easy going from my experience. If I recall correctly, in one conversation with one of the management personnel they were concerned I might have been using minnows to fish. It sounds like they do not want minnows used in the water there.
