Great place to fish if your fishing from the hotel Homewood suites. The waters right in the parking lot, nice and open and it's loaded with fish. there are jacks, tarpon, snook, peacock bass, large mouth bass All just from right there in the parking lot best bait to use is shiners everything else is gonna be a lot harder to hook up. shiners is the way to go.

This is one of the best lakes in the hammocks if you check out my profile you will see what I mean I’ve been around all of Miami fishing for peacock bass and by far this is one of my favorite spots. Monsters are real and I’ve seen them!! Massive 5,6,7 pounders hanging around by the banks I even caught one close to.m nine pounds massive peacock bass you can catch them with anything swim baits or shiners!! The spawning is crazy as well!!!!!!
