I’ve lived on Pegram lake for about 12 years now and I hate to let the secret out but there is some monster bass here. In the evenings the entire lake is is nothing but topwater blowups from the yearlings chasing wild golden shiners. I have caught several 3-4lb chunks and a couple 6lb largemouth bass just in the few months of this summer. All in all Pegram lake is an amazing lake but keep in mind it is private so if you are uninvited YOU WILL GET RAN OFF!! Love y’all🤘🏻tight lines!

Bass, bass & more bass. Now I have had a monster of a catfish around my dock at morning but no luck hooking it this year. Also tons of alligator gar out especially at night. I’ve tried everything and can’t get them to interact. Until Last weekend while using medium shinners, I was running from pole to pole catching bass nonstop. Then I hooked this gar and I knew right away it wasn’t as bass...;)
