I have fished Hunters Lake for over 15 years and have lived on it for 9. I have seen the lake go from the lowest to the highest it has ever historically been which believe it or not was Sept 2, 2019. I have caught over 1k bass on the lake but still have not caught that double digit lunker. My personal best on the lake is 7.6. As long as everyone respects the lake and the fish this will be a great fishery for generations to come.

Great fishing

My uncle lives here and I’ve fished here since I was really young. I love these waters whether you fish by boat, canoe, or kayak. The fishing is great. You can catch anything from toadfish you snook. From crabs to red fish. Be sure to bring some bug spray though.
