Weather it’s jumbo stripers and blues busting out out of the water pr gumbo sea bass and fluke you’ll always have fun and your own surprise porgys are easy.

If it’s a good day you’ll catch at least 10 fish in 2 hours. Mostly Bluefish but if your lucky flounder or a searobin. On bad days well you won’t catch much maybe only like 2 or 3

Overall, very good but almost everywhere the slipper snails will hook you on, larping as a fish but if you don’t know what you’re doing, you’ll loose your rig, the major issue is, they are all over..

i catch so many porgy and its so easy, just use a porgy rig with a medium action rod and some sandworms and clam and that works damn wonders, i recomend fishing at oyster bay, catches many porgy at shore, my fav beach to fish porgy is stheli beach located in bayville oyster bay. if ur not a resident make sure to come around 6:00 to 7:00 am because the gaurds at the entrance will check for residency and they will be at the enrance by 8:00am.
