Fishing Water

Haven’t been posting but caught this guy yesterday

This sucker hit right when the sinko hit the water a nice pretty one.

First time I’ve fishing this season and my boyfriend and I caught (and released) several fish including this big guy!

Finally after chasing my first pike of the year, I got him. Crazy thing is, I caught this pike on the very next cast after my first ever walleye! This lil pike put up a crazy fight and took over a minute to get in because he was digging into the weeds. Yesterday was probably one of my most favorite days of fishing ever.

Well, I finally got my first ever walleye yesterday, and it’s not a bad one either! I’ve been wanting to catch one for a while but I haven’t really targeted them. I was just fishing off a long dock that was about 6-8 feet deep but was right next to a drop off and he choked my lipless crank. Super cool fish to catch, and I can’t wait to catch more in the future.

Last one from yesterday. Even with 30mph winds and a 35 degree wind chill we still managed to pullout around 30 between the 3 of us. I ended up with 15 and 6 doubles ups. Awesome day on the water with @nolangrey and @isaacretberg

My friend lives on this lake so I have a free pass to fishing here, but I almost caught an absolute beast of a bass here, (he got off) but It’s a really good lake, the fish are nice and healthy, and there are fat perch which would be good for eating!
