Most definitely pressured have to work on them for a while
I have caught some big fish out at Cameron park! Very relaxing!
Been a handful of times and noticed you really have to come at the right time and know exactly what you should be throwing otherwise you won’t get a bump. Fish are very finicky in the winter time because the temperature fluctuates greatly due to the body of water being on the small side.
Lots of bass in this lake, TONS of weeds so use weed less setups or top water. Big bluegill too. Almost guaranteed to catch something every time. Go after 7:00pm and the kiosk is closed so you can avoid paying ($3 for locals, $5 for out of towners). Canoe/kayak/float friendly. No live bait allowed. C&R only, barbless hooks encouraged, we just crimp ours down. 1 mile walking path around the lake so you can fish from all sides. Picnic areas w/ bbqs.
Probably one of the more fun spots to catch bass. easy spot to get too. There’s a couple of spots with docks. You can bring a kayak or a paddleboard out there but I believe nothing motorized.
