If the weeds & reeds are blooming, it's almost impossible to fish from shore, but I've had some good luck here. Blue Gill and Bass are around

Great place to fish but there is a lot of weeds. Fishing gets really good when they remove the weeds which is 2 or 3 times a year. There are bass everywhere and even bigger ones come out in the early summer. Great place to fish for bluegills and sunfish. Every time I have been here I’ve caught alot of fish. Even when fishing is slow. But there is just so many weeds, and geese. Nice place to fish but be warned, you may lose a couple baits when you go. First time I went I ended up with 2 bluegill and an empty box of baits. (Recommend anything texas rig)

Nice local lake where people of all ages can have a nice lunch. The fishing isn’t for the experts but it’s fun to pass time

Probably one of the more fun spots to catch bass. easy spot to get too. There’s a couple of spots with docks. You can bring a kayak or a paddleboard out there but I believe nothing motorized.

Lots of bass in this lake, TONS of weeds so use weed less setups or top water. Big bluegill too. Almost guaranteed to catch something every time. Go after 7:00pm and the kiosk is closed so you can avoid paying ($3 for locals, $5 for out of towners). Canoe/kayak/float friendly. No live bait allowed. C&R only, barbless hooks encouraged, we just crimp ours down. 1 mile walking path around the lake so you can fish from all sides. Picnic areas w/ bbqs.
