Quincy is one of very few places that has a wide range of species in Colorado. I’ve caught big rainbow, smallmouth, largemouth, and even a catfish off of a simple shad swimbait. Highly recommend.

Quincy has a lot to offer the urban bass angler. There are many different types of water to cover and many points extending into the main lake. As an added bonus there are no large boats allowed, which makes it nice for a kayak angler trying not to get Tossed around by the waves. The $10.00 entry fee is a little hefty but if you’ve got the day it’s alright.

Good water in parts of the west side and up further north of the lake but very marshy this time of year and lower waters

I've always lived right across the street from here. It's nice to go walk around and bank fish, or take out a kayak. Definitely some nice large mouth in there, but the weeds are outrageous. Topwater or Texas rigs seem to do the trick. $10 entry fee, if you have an annual pass to Aurora it's good here and vice versa. Good luck!

Quincy reservoir was absolutely teeming with life, as we had many bites and lander quite a few fish for just a 5 hr trip! My dad got 13 perch and a wicked 5lb largemouth, my friend landed 9 perch, and I landed a nice 3 lb smallie! Best if you have a kayak, as you can get to nice drop offs where fish like to kick it! awesome bass and perch fishing!

This lake is not good if u don’t have a boat, also there is so much allege everywhere so it’s so hard to fish I came here and it’s a dead lake unless you have a boat.

Water can get pretty bad, gas had to close early in past years to treat algae. Has nice bass though. No live or manufactured bait.

Been a couple times and it's nice and quiet. There's some large bass in there too.

Fishing from a kayak or other small water vessel is the best way to catch bass there. There is too much alge to effectively fish from shore. The bass are hard to catch but it is a really nice lake.

As far reservoirs go this wasn’t bad. I mainly bass fish, catch release. New to Denver area. I’ve been to 3 different places so far and this was the only one to give me any luck. Feel like a little boat or kayak would work best for these reservoirs. I have yet to go early mornings. So far nothing for me in the evening. And my first 2 first today around 10am(larg bass) and 12pm (trout) I’ll be back to Quincy res. For sure.parking isn’t free sadly.
